Action Figure of the Day: Culture jammer Ron English unveils his latest creation: The Incredible Obama.
Once a mild-mannered president, until a gamma bomb blast transformed him into a hulking mass of executive power.
Unfortunately, not for sale at this time.

Designing Obama
Some say he’s a savior, some say he’s the anti-christ. Say what you will, it’s a free country; but you can’t deny that the man has shown some good taste in design. View the whole design process with his campaign from start to finish either through the digital book here, or buying the beautifully printed and crafted book here. Hell, there’s even an iPad app. Here’s a snippet from the home-page:

The Obama presidential campaign was an innovation in American politics and American design. For the first time, a candidate used art and design to bring together the American people—capturing their voices in a visual way. The Design Director of the Obama campaign, Scott Thomas, has collaborated with artists and designers to create Designing Obama, a chronicle of the art from the historic campaign.

On another note, excellent use of typography, minimalism, and white-space throughout the whole web design.

On another note, Malaysian politicians, please take note.
